| On the 15th December Freshfield Mark Lodge held a Meeting during which W.Bro Jeremy Williams officiated over the Advancement of Southport’s newest Mark Mason, Bro. Keith Mitchell. | |

| Freshfield’s usual lively ceremony was excellently performed by the WM assisted by his Of&icers under the direction of the DC W.Bro John Mawdsley PGJD. Bro. Mitchell found the ceremony most enlightening and impressive and looks forward to his future in the Mark. | |

| As everybody as anxious to get down to the Xmas festivities, including the obligatory Fish Chips and Mushy peas and the Marshside Brass Band, photo opportunities were limited.

| It was pleasing to see 9 or 10 Non Mark Masons present. No doubt we will see more Advancements in due course. | |
